    Cercando un rifugio tranquillo durante il mio recente viaggio a Shenzhen, ho prenotato un soggiorno presso Baolilai International Hotel Shenzhen, vicino all'aeroporto di Bao'an. Essendo un ospite attento alla qualità delle dotazioni, sono rimasto davvero colpito dalla cura dedicata alla manutenzione delle strutture di questo affermato hotel a cinque stelle.
    Entrando in camera, sono stato subito colpito dall'atmosfera spaziosa e confortevole. Ho soggiornato in una camera "Superior King"; con i suoi 39 metri quadrati, offriva una disposizione degli spazi ben studiata e ariosa. La camera presentava uno stile elegante: sebbene l'hotel sia stato inaugurato tempo fa, una ristrutturazione del 2019 ha rinnovato le strutture, che si mantengono in condizioni eccellenti. Ho apprezzato particolarmente il sistema letto: il materasso offriva il perfetto equilibrio tra sostegno e morbidezza, completato da un piumino in piuma d'oca e tende oscuranti. Grazie anche all'eccellente insonorizzazione, l'ambiente risultava meravigliosamente silenzioso, ideale per un sonno ristoratore dopo un viaggio faticoso.
    Dal punto di vista delle dotazioni e dei servizi, la camera era perfettamente attrezzata. L'area di lavoro comprendeva una scrivania ampia, diverse prese elettriche e Wi-Fi ad alta velocità, rispondendo così perfettamente alle esigenze di chi viaggia per affari. La zona relax offriva una TV LCD, oltre a un minibar ben fornito e a un piccolo frigorifero. Il bagno rappresentava un punto di forza, con una zona doccia separata (che distingueva l'area umida da quella asciutta) e una vasca spaziosa; l'abbondante disponibilità di acqua calda 24 ore su 24 ha permesso di godersi un bagno rilassante prima di coricarsi. Erano inoltre presenti dotazioni essenziali come cassaforte in camera, bollitore elettrico e asciugacapelli.
    Oltre ai servizi standard in camera, sono rimasto piacevolmente colpito dalle strutture dedicate al benessere nelle aree comuni. L'hotel dispone di piscina coperta, palestra, campi da tennis e un'ampia spa. Fare una nuotata o concedersi un trattamento benessere è stato un modo fantastico per rilassarsi tra un impegno e l'altro.
    Naturalmente, la struttura presentava anche qualche piccola imperfezione. A causa delle recenti forti piogge a Shenzhen, la moquette emanava talvolta un leggero odore di chiuso; suggerirei di lasciare le finestre aperte per arieggiare durante le operazioni di pulizia. Inoltre, sebbene alcuni ospiti abbiano notato lievi segni di usura, questi piccoli inconvenienti non hanno compromesso l'esperienza complessivamente eccellente.
